Let me guess…that wasn’t the right frequency? Maybe we could get Pat Boone. Even better, Donnie and Marie!
Back then WGAY was the DC area’s “Beautiful Music Station" that played the soothing, soft “easy listening” tunes that filled the waiting areas of every dentist and doctor’s office. Kind of like early Muzak over the FM dial. Guaranteed to make anyone under 60 wish they were dead.
What, no Marvel-esque sound effect when the radio got smashed? Not even one teensie “BTOOOM!”?
Good reflexes, Dean.
It still works, but is stuck on a Kenny G marathon.
“Kenneth, What is the frequency?”
Julius, to Ralph: “Well, it looks like we’re out of food, but we’ll be eating roast pork for the next week.”
JUST EAT THE PIG AND BE DONE WITH IT!
