Spot doesn’t seem like the right name…
Smells like the Serengeti.
“Don’t take it personally, but you just look like a horse to me.”
Although Roscoe’s stripes had always afforded him superior camouflage back in the old country, they did him no good at all in this split-level Dutch Colonial. He felt dreadfully conspicuous. The dogs were sniffing around already, and it was only a matter of time before the hyenas next door noticed him.
They’re still trying to figure: is it black with white stripes, or white with black stripes? (see Shel Silverstein for that one)
“I asked the Zebra, are you black with white stripes?Or white with black stripes? And the zebra asked me,Are you good with bad habits?Or are you bad with good habits? Are you noisy with quiet times?Or are you quiet with noisy times? Are you happy with some sad days?Or are you sad with some happy days? Are you neat with some sloppy ways?Or are you sloppy with some neat ways? And on and on and on and on and on and on he went.I’ll never ask a zebra about stripes…again.”
― Shel Silverstein
Or… Reading between the lions.
Is he a black horse with white stripes or a white horse with black stripes? Answer that old question if you please….
