A perfect capture of the psychobabble that was the inevitable result of over-analyzing the ineffable nature of human attraction. And people are still making million$ peddling it…

I’ve found I am overly aggressive with 50% of women I am interested in. The other 50% don’t find me aggressive enough.

He could have saved himself years of seminars and therapy, and just asked her out, but noooo.

On a similar note, I’ve always wondered about those get-rich seminars. If they made it rich, why are they giving seminars in order to make some money?

I’ve encountered this juxtaposition before, the more aggressive: grab life by the horns and the more laid back: zen-like approach and have had success with both. It’s baffling at times, but it helps to be open to both options. When I gave up trying to date, when I was younger, I decided to go back to school and get a second degree, this time in Music. And, of course, I met a girl in one of the ensemble classes, who later became my wife.
