“I don’t belong to any organized party, I’m a democrat.” – Will Rogers Seventy years ago.
Maybe, but if you look at both parties, it’s not the Democratic party that has the most infighting.
That’s the problem Democrats have ALWAYS had. And bear in mind that what looks like “moderate” these days, by comparison w/ the Rong Wingers looks downright conservative compared to the Democrats of the 60s.
Really great artwork!
At least the arguments are about policy instead of reality
Kevin, as much room as there is for improvement, how could you forget the dung heap of the past four years? And they’re still at it while there’s so much clean up left for the nation. But y’all got any better and still workable solution? No? There’s the thing of it. Try coming up with an idea on how to move forward. I know that is tougher than flinging crap but seriously, which helps more, if at all even one little bit?
Some of the ‘moderates’ are closet conservatives.
President Biden is “guilty” of trying to pass too ambitious of packages right off the bat. New presidents often fall into that trap. I’m not saying the measures he proposed weren’t deserving but the reality was compromise packages were needed. The one non-compromise packages all Dems should pass right now (or turn in their cards as Dems) is re-authorization of the Voter Rights Act.
Well, again, like Will Rogers said, “I don’t belong to an organized party, I’m a Democrat.”
The intolerant democrats are just trying to see which faction can be the most hateful.
I left the Democratic Party in 1966, because of the War in Vietnam. I’ve supported individual Democrats, depending on the circumstances at the time. In general the Democratic Party has good intentions, but too often they have been content with half measures. Just enough progress on civil rights, but no fundamental change. Just enough support for workers, but no radical critique of capitalism. Just enough restraint in foreign policy, but no critique of US imperialism. And not enough action on the climate.
It takes a conservative viewpoint to completely miss the point of the Democratic Party.
The Democratic Party It is supposed to serve all viewpoints from conservative to socialist, led by the Liberal Principals, Ideals, Values of our Founders. Most Democrats are Moderates, few are conservative, some are socialist and they are the loudest right now. But when it is all debated out, all the give-and-take discussed, all the power attempts are done, the Democrats unite.
conservatives will never get that. They march in lock-step. Even when led by a traitor and insurrectionist that they disagreed with from the start, conservatives will follow unquestioning.
Talk about family feud. A dysfunctional democratic house between Moderates and Socialists. All the Republicans have to do is sit back and watch the show! No wonder NOTHING GETS DONE!
As if the Republican Party was undivided…
Really, Manchin is the best player on the republicon team.
In this depiction, the Dems are becoming just as bad as the Repulsive-cans!
Meanwhile, the “Righties” are unified behind the psychotic, fraudulent, fascist Mango Messiah.
Sorry, but I’ll take diversity and thinking for themselves over Right-Wing Mind-Slavery any day.
Good image of the Anti-Vaxers & Anti-Maskers.
