I would trust Mortimer. He’s a special dog.

A person should never doubt Mortimer.

Well, sure. They hired Kris while knowing barely anything about him and simply figured that he must be virtuous because he was living in the same dumpster that Delray lived in, and poor people are ALWAYS noble and trustworthy. Nothing to worry about here…/s

Maybe at some point Crunchy will let them know that Kris said he hates cops.

I still think there is more to this, Mortimer could still be growling at something else. Perhaps what Kris is wearing, not Kris himself. Think of the dog on I Dream of Jeannie that attacked anyone wearing a uniform.

Mortimer may have been profiling. And maybe not. We’ll see.

“He doesn’t always get it right”…no, but he’s been darn accurate so far!

Now, I’m nervous. This is straight out of the movies. The dog, the kid, the old lady… someone who’s easily ignored, but has the insight issues a warning and everyone dismisses it until it’s too late.

I trust Mortimer implicitly; I do. However, it is the season of miracles, so …..

Two of our mutts are very friendly, so if they both growled at someone, I’d listen. The third one doesn’t trust anyone except my wife and I.

He’s gonna maul that sock puppet to shreds.

My dog is almost always good at judging people. But I have a friend who is in pest control and my dog only growls at him when he is in uniform. So in this case, he is judging the uniform (or the chemical smell within the uniform) and not the person.

My sister’s first husband had a dog that did not like people of color. The dog’s name was Beau. It was scary. Let’s just say I am glad he is her ex.

The Sockness Monster is merely his kryptonite.

I thought Mortimer got over the Sockness monster.

Mortimer always gets it right!

Maybe Mortimer’s hostility towards SockNess is just a deep fake; he actually knows it is harmless, but he just acts that way to heighten the drama for the twins, and make it more fun. Now, when it comes to a real threat or a criminal, he does not play around or make mistakes.

And if he’s right, Marcy! What are you going to do then?
