Read the Federalist Papers, very important reading. Gives good insight into back then and the shaping of our country.

Wandering in Strange Lands by Morgan Jerkins. BTW, I am as white American-European as you can get. History does not see “color”, only people do.

I’m not reading that book, I have more casual fun reading.

I can almost hear my former literature teachers, “Doesn’t matter why you’re reading just so you’re reading.”

TBH, that’s probably the only reason I’d read Du Bois. He seems so heavy, it’s intimidating.
