Good bedtime stories.
She thinks that the late senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) and his “magic bullet” theory is a bunch of bull!
The child has a future.
She’s gonna grow to be the smartest girl in town.
Teach your children well. – Graham Nash, Anglo-American troubadour
Don’t be surprised by what your daughter will be fascinated by, Clarence!
I’m sure she can do it.
Will always believe there was somebody else, probably on “the grassy knoll”. Nobody has ever been able to replicate firing that bolt action rifle that quick with anywhere near the accuracy required.
Plus I always wonder about the “Umbrella Man”. Nobody else had an umbrella open that day, not even the older people. Sunny, no rain. The man is shown closing the umbrella jsut before the motorcade arrives and as the shots ring out and everybody runs the one way, he calmly walks the other direction.
“She squeaks once for True, twice for False.”
Well, sure . . . if you squeeze her!
All the other kids in this strip seem to be getting older but her. Hmmmm
The Zapruder film leaves no doubt of a second gunman. I hope we can find out the whole truth of what really happened someday.
She’ll be the one that connects all the dots to prove conclusively that it was a Mafia hit. Retaliation for John welching on a deal Robert (and the CIA) made with Santo Trafficante to assassinate Fidel Castro.
Santo recruted Cuban expatriates that trained in the Everglades to made the hit on Castro and paid them half up-front. Santo was to get prime casino sites in Havana.
My daughter was small enough that I could hold her in my hand the way Otis is doing here. For about a week, maybe.
Also recommend “Death of a President” by William Manchester, which is a highly detailed account of the assassination timeline from multiple viewpoints.
I don’t know how old she’s supposed to be, but hearing any language helps a child. However, it reaches a point where what you read to the child needs to interest the kid.
here’s one for you: Lee Harvey Oswald and Richard Nixon both (separately) visited Jack Ruby’s nightclub the week before JFK was killed
“Okay… But she’s still too young for college!”
It wouldn’t surprise me if LBJ had him killed.
