Funny how the might of the US military cannot get a balloon down from the sky?

If China could build a Death Star, they would. Spying and domination are two of their major pastimes.

Once again, Biden avoids conflict with China. Trade. COVID. Spy balloons. Intellectual property theft.

China owns Biden.

The Chinese have satellites more sophisticated than this balloon. I think they are just trying to tweak our nose.

The most likely explanation for them doing something that is so obvious is that they screwed up. It is highly unlikely that they can gather any information with it that they don’t already have- obtained with satellites far smaller, from which we probably also picked up the signals as soon as there were any. And, shooting it down is overreacting. So, act like adults and ignore it.

Reminds me of the 1967 series, The Prisoner. [H]e tries to [escape] but is defeated by Rover, a huge white balloon that keeps prisoners from escaping The Village.
