I don’t believe the MAGAts are all actually stupid enough to buy what Trump is saying. However, they are absolutely thrilled that his lies annoy liberals so totally. They see liberals as being better educated and more sophisticated than they are ( accurately, in most cases), and they feel inferior to them. They believe, again accurately in most cases, that liberals see them in that same light— remember"deplorables". So they resent liberals and enjoy the heck out of the show he puts on to drive them crazy. The fact that he is destroying the country doesn’t seem to matter much, which makes considering them deplorable also quite accurate.
