“Derp! But I don’t care about this human suffering because my team is responsible, therefore I will argue semantics about how what happened actually didn’t happen, or that these people deserve what happened to them, or find whatever alternate reality suits my wishes so I can ignore the truth and remain loyally oppositional toward the reality which casts my team in a poor light! DEEEEEEERRRRRRP!!!!!”
Dead solid perfect.
A Canadian editorial cartoonist was fired by his paper for a similar themed panel but it included Trump playing golf asking the deceased migrants if he could ‘play through’. The cartoonist should not have been fired. – He does have free speech. The publisher , or editor , could have written that they do not necessarily agree with political cartoonists . – I agree with the idea the cartoon expressed , as I understand it- indicating Trump’s egocentric , obsessive, self interest !
