War is a high priority, peace won’t pay the arms makers, Republican deep state needs all of your tax dollars.

I remember my first terrible field trip. It was to the Atomic Energy Museum. 1954. They showed how the atomic bomb had wiped out Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They showed plans to use an atomic bomb to blow a pass through the Sierra Nevadas so they could run a nice flat straight away highway from LA to Las Vegas. …..Freddie Mercury and Queen wrote a song called Hammer to fall. The lyrics to that song really hit home simply because I’ve been waiting for the hammer to fall ever since that field trip. The Doomsday Clock has moved from 7 minutes to Doomsday down to one minute till Doomsday. My mother accused my entire generation of being pessimists. I always told her that I was actually an optimist because I got up every day knowing that if they blew up the world today, I would be at Ground Zero so I wouldn’t feel any pain when they killed the world.
