Totally partisan Republicans broke the bridge and want to keep it broken.

republicans don’t want a “bridge”, they want a one way chute to give them whatever they want.

We can start by getting “Citizens United” overturned. ( Yah, I know!)

Nah. The GOP would rather burn bridges than build them.

I like the part where Biden asks them to cooperate and provide input, Republicans roar and snort and ultimately refuse, then Democrats pass the legislation, and Republicans take credit for it and/or complain about increasing the deficit, and also b***h about the lack of bi-partisanship. It’s the latest Republican kabuki performance.

Whatever sanity is, republicans are doing the opposite.

I disagree. There’s no way to get the entrenched GQP to take even a single step toward working together on anything useful. The FIRST thing we have to do is just keep the triple majority.

It is, however, rather nice to have an adult in charge.

Forget it. There is no bridge that would please Republicans.

I’d recommend any decent cartoonist, to include Heller never, in these times of the incredible massive idiocy of the right-wing populists, he/she never produce any type of piece that suggests that both sides are equally wrong.
