“West’s” hands are too large, and he’s holding up too many fingers to the rest of the world.

Trump will find some way to screw it up.

Kim is very “honorable”, Trump is not.

Out of curiosity, what do folks here think of Trump’s role in Korea peace negotiations? Was his involvement critical, or he got lucky somehow?

Trump had no role in Korea peace negotiations except by his absence: South Korea may well feel that they won’t be protected by a sane and sensible US anymore, so feel compelled to negotiate with the North. I simply don’t believe that statement from the South Korean president. One hypothesis is that the North has realized it can’t produce nuclear weapons — and had a major disaster they are covering up in their underground bomb test facility — so they are pretending to negotiate peace before someone lobs a real bomb at them.

But we know doggoned well that Kim Jung Il can’t be trusted — this is a guy who poisoned HIS OWN FAMILY MEMBERS when they bothered him.
