How indeed? I suppose it’s one of several long running wedge issues engineered by Nixon and his goons to ensure Republicans got to remain in power through an energized hyper partisan base that is more concerned about winning than the rules of law.

Wow, good thing that evil Hillary didn’t win. Look how well Trump did aided by Moscow Mitch!! /S I guess it will even get better in 2022 when the Republicans get Congress and the Senate again. Probably install Stocks and wearing Red Letter A’s and other good stuff.

Jen, you’re only showing men saying the “it doesn’t matter” stuff. That’s not true, not even a little bit. Not even SLIGHTLY true. And I’m not even talking about goofs like Schlafly.

How about Tammy Bruce for example? Or the women who just vote for Qublicans because Roe would never be overturned?

It’s not all men. Not even close.

Some of that American “Freedom” got you there. Give a zealot a soap-box to excite the troops and this/that.. is what you get.

The Democrats are free to pass federal legislation legalizing abortion in all 50 states (and DC) to settle the issue once and for all. They could have done so in 1977, 1993, and 2009 when they had large majorities in the house and senate plus the presidency.

Could it be because we are finally realizing that abortion is just a fancy name for murder?

If Roe is indeed overturned, it won’t end abortion per se. The blue states like NY, CA, etc. will likely keep abortion legal while the deep red states like AL, MS, etc. will likely seek to ban it. But the real acid test will be if/when women are arrested for terminating their pregnancies (or trying to) or a OB/GYN gets tried and convicted in court because he couldn’t “prove” his patient’s miscarriage wasn’t induced. Will there be mass protests in the streets? If it gets that far, I hope so. At least it will shift the focus of the abortion debate back to its original focus, the woman seeking to end her pregnancy. Plus the GOP (if Roe is overturned) will lose one of its biggest wedge issues.

Oh good, by this timeline we’ve still got another 10-ish years before climate change finally becomes irreversible and we’ve lost too much of our coastal regions to rising sea levels before people will realize we should have done something less drastic back in the early 1990s to stop it.

Hmm, it will be interesting to see how people react when the NWO takes charge and eliminates the meat industry.
