Supreme Court held up to public ridicule? Happening more in recent times. Too bad. Means decisions that are actually well-reasoned and non-political will be weighed in the same bin with those that are neither. Net outcome? Greater skepticism concerning their motives.
Supreme Court: This is what happens when you vote Republican. Let’s see what civil liberty they can take away from us this week or what Evangelical Christian doctrine they can force us to follow.
Supreme Court justices should serve for a term of 18 years and we should replace one every 2 years. This would prevent any one president from having too long an influence over the court.
Ah yes, what will the Uncle Thomas Court do next to delegitimize it? I can see down the road another court that reverses the overrulings and goes back to the Warren Court precedents, like true “conservatives”.
Don’t know what anyone else is doing for Oct. 31, but I’m dressing up as the scariest thing yet….an “undocumented Immigrant”!! Ahhhh!! Seems the GOP has been using them as “Boogeymen and women” forever.
Those 3 are the Republican Party in a nutshell… MTG or Bobble-Head Boebert as the Witch, ANY Republican Senator as the brainless Zombie, and the SCROTUS is self-explanatory.
The legitamacy of the court has been questioned many times over the years. Maybe today more than ever. It’s a battle over which political party controls the Senate. The nomination process is broken thanks to years of Moscow Mitch stonewalling democratic nominees. Today the court is made up of to many GQP hacks, thanks in large part to Rump and the Federalist society.

SCARY!
Not the costume, so much. The unbridled power with a “christian” conservative bent.

31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. Why not celebrate Hobbit Day instead (too late now) September 22.

Great Idea!
Put on judicial robes with an elephant’s head and answer the door for trick or treaters brandishing a wire coathanger.
Show the little buggers what life will be like should the worse rehappen.

Ridiculing those six Justices is fun, but it won’t bother them any, nor help in the long run.

The RW is mightily pleased with the Supreme Court. That would be a donkey dressing as a SC judge.
