Until “pro-life” TrumpubliKKKans decide that they love their children who have actually been born more than they love their guns — their precious battlefield weapons of mass killing designed to kill as many human beings as fast as possible, with which they compensate for their other inadequacies — the epidemic of firearm genocide will continue unabated.

How much blood of children needs to be shed before TrumpubliKKKan blood lust is finally satisfied?

How many more innocent school children (and church goers and shoppers and concert goers and, and, and…) need to be offered up as human sacrifices on the blood-spattered altar of gun manufacturer profits and bribes to legislators before enough profit has been made that they can decide that the lives of actual children also have value?

“Thoughts and prayers”? Thinking and praying but DOING NOTHING is a blasphemous heresy against any deity to whom those thoughts might be getting prayed.

Pro-life? I don’t want one word of scolding by cruel, heartless, bloodthirsty TrumpubliKKKans wagging their moralistic fingers in our faces and lecturing us about “babies” when the only thing they really want to do is micromanage the private lives of women and they don’t give a rat’s patootie about real live children who have actually been born.

Gun sales were up on the news. Gun nuts are worried that we’ll come to our senses, so they stock up.

Don’t look for any significant changes in gun regulations, maybe a little bandaid to look good, but that’s it.

I am not God and this is good. Otherwise I would give life back to the 19 children and shoot 19 children of Republican pro-gun legislators. In exchange for the two teacher’s lives I suggest Cruz and Abbot.

When the Second Amendment was drafted, state-of-the-art weaponry was a smooth-bore, muzzle-loading musket. A skilled soldier could fire three rounds in a minute, but it was such an exhausting task, it could not be sustained. At best, a musketeer could kill three people in a minute if two of them were willing to stand around while he reloaded.

An AR-15 shoots 800 rounds a minute. It takes no more effort than holding down the trigger. Doing some non-critical-race-theory, second grade mathematics means that an AR-15 has 267 times the killing power as an 18th century musket.

So when Republicans say that mass shootings are a mental health issue, they are correct and their enabling gun laws gives that one insane person the killing capacity of 267 insane people at the time the Second Amendment was ratified.

Have you noticed that all these Republicans who claim that mass murder is a metal health issue get a combined millions of dollars from the gun lobbies and spend $0 on mental health?

We have mass shootings because we want them – every time we press the “R” lever in the voting booth.

There isn’t a single Republican elected offcial who isn’t thinking, “If I don’t thwart gun reform, my constituents won’t re-elect me. It’s worth dead children to get re-elected.”

The radical right is concerned about children being gunned down in our schools. Every time a mass murder happens (like 3 times a week) it increases the chance that, IN THEIR PARANOID MIND, the liberals are going to come and take their beloved guns away. Loss of guns is the primary concern; not loss of life. It’s acceptable to sustain casualties to preserve their rights to own guns.

It’s the new normal: shooting, outrage, thoughts and prayers and then back to business as usual. I am so glad we made America Great Again.

The Gun Cult considers the daily massacres (on average 321 people are shot each day, including 62 suicides and 42 murders) collateral damage for their “rights.” So shut up and and in Jesus’s name die, fools.

The governor of Oklahoma signed a bill effectively banning all abortion in Oklahoma surrounded by supporters bearing signs reading “Life is a Human Right” but with a footnote; “Except for victims of mass shootings. Gun Rights Supersede Human Rights.”

I loved it when the governor of Texas was on TV acting all teary-eyed. He provides gun companies whatever they want…the blood of those children is on his hands as much as it is on the murderers hands.

Texans have guns because they want to be cowboys in the Wild West. They need to grow up.

Reports are coming out from the AP that the cops stood by outside the school for around 40-60 minutes.

Sometimes you need to protect yourself with a gun if the cops won’t.

Sad how the Qpublicans don’t want ANYONE killing unborn babies… but they have NO PROBLEM with them being killed AFTER they are born.

I think the ones with the mental health problems are the Republicans who, apparently, can’t get their priorities straight.

The Miami Heat requested that their fans contact their elected officials about gun reform.

Senator Rubio® Florida responded, “The @NBA doesn’t like to talk about the billions they make from a China that enslaves Uyghur Muslims and harvests their organs.”

What has that got to do with the issue of 21 people being gunned down other than the time honored GOP response of deflection.

It’s the old “Two wrongs make a right.” Somehow the alleged NBA scandal justifies the mass shooting in Rubio’s mind.

I am a white male living in a mostly-white, affluent neighborhood. Therefore I can depend on the police to protect me. I do not need a gun for protection. However, not all people are as fortunate as me.

I grew up in Brooklyn and never went hunting with my father or uncles. However, my cousin, who also grew up in Brooklyn now lives on a farm. He has a rifle and uses it to bring down one deer a year to stock his freezer. He also uses it to shoot small predators that eat his chickens, but mostly his dogs manage to run them off.

He needs a rifle. But it’s single shot and the round has to be rechambered manually. Also, it has a small magazine. He merely has to fell the deer or kill the vermin. He doesn’t need to make Swiss Cheese out of them. He’s pretty good with his weapon and can usually hit what he wants with one shot. He doesn’t need to send a spray of bullets down range every couple of seconds.

I am not anti-gun and I am not going to take away guns from the people who need them or even want them. I just question how much killing power the average American needs.

I’ve noticed that most of the politicians who don’t want to do anything to prevent these mass murders are also “pro-life”. They are not pro-life, they are forced-birth.

It took a foreign correspondent to silence Cruz (or Cruz couldn’t respond) when Cruz was asked why only America has such a shooting issue.

This is going to cost the NRA extra money in campaign contributions, but otherwise, no problem.

Anyone want in on a pool? Who will be the first Republican and when to say, “We’ve beaten this thing to death? It’s TIME TO MOVE ON. Let’s talk about really important issues like why inflation, gas prices and baby formula shortages are Joe Biden’s fault.”

I predict that by November, gun control and mass murder will be a forgotten issue and people will vote with their pocketbooks. People won’t even know what you are talking about when you mention “Uvalde .”

But I may be wrong, given the increasing rate at which people are gunned down en masse in America. It is quite likely that there will be another spectacular slaughter in October. That could be a tragedy, especially for the Republicans.

The NRA doesn’t love the guns; it loves the money and power the guns provide them.
