I liked it under Trump better. Then the biggest worry was being killed by Covid and it killed a half million of us. Mass shooters usually kill only less than a dozen people at a time. /s

America is losing ground on its leadership on Covid deaths, but we still have a firm grip on first place for death by gun.

Peacekeeping is an order of magnitude harder than nurturing hatred and envy, so some ambitious self-centered politicians avoid it and take the path of the least effort.

A worth and overlooked goal no matter who is president.

I don’t argue with the plain language of this cartoon. But the sentiment seems to be that ONLY Biden is concerned with safety and security, to the exclusion of other administrations. I propose that the previous administration put forth a safety and security policy with a focus on securing the border. The arms race was a safety and security policy. “Speak softly and carry a big stick” was a safety and security policy. You can’t say that only the current president is interested in keeping us safe in our homes, schools. restaurants, etc. Other presidents performed that duty, just using a different agenda.

Congrats on 200 million shots within 100 days though. Trump couldn’t have done anything like that.

And GQPs are totally against safety and security if Democrats are for them…

I know, weird isn’t it? And that there should be adequate care for the elderly. How we’re supposed to pay for all that while supporting “around” 5000 military bases around the world (“around” 600 of them overseas) I don’t know.

Joe, Kamala, Secretary Blinken, Speaker Pelosi, et alia, are following their oaths and doing their jobs, too bad the Rs flunked 8th grade civics.

Not to worry.

We have more than enough gun violence advocates and perpetrators to ensure that does not happen.

Ha ! Never ever, ever again will anyone feel safe in public. That feeling is gone and We killed it sure as Dog made little green apples.

Democrats want a population that is safe, financially secure, fed, educated, and inoculated.

Wow. No wonder the right-wing “Republicans” are freaking out about the “important” stuff, like “Cancel Culture”, “Woke”, masks, non-existent vaccine passports, scary black people, messkin migrants, and Mr. Potato Head.

And tell me pray, why this should not be so? Is that not the role of government?
