Um. Okay? I guess she’s supposed to be looking everywhere at once. Three things to bear in mind:

1: The problem comes because of the SUPPLY being too small, and that’s getting better very quickly in the USA at least (and getting better other places too, perhaps not so quickly)

2: The fact that there’s a large demand is Excellent News  because it means that the number of idiot anti-vaxxers is not as large as I have sometimes feared.

3: Just in passing: She has had her vaccine shot(s) by now, as have a very large majority of the people who have been given priority access.

Maybe the demand will continue to increase now that it has leaked out that Trump and Melania both got vaccinated in January when it was first available.

    .

Probably, he was sick enough when he had the virus that it scared the sh!t out of him and he got vaccinated.

Of course, he did not tell the public. He didn’t want to look like the coward that he is.

    .

    “We want THEM infected.”

And come the fall, we’ll be getting another Covid shot to go with the annual Flu shot. Covid’s not going to disappear, so we’ll have to live with it just like the Flu.

I think it will be another lost year. But hopefully by Thanksgiving we will all be vaccinated and have something to be thankful for.

Now that J&J has hit the street, my wife and about 50 other Congregational Nurses will be hitting the streets with their beach coolers full of vaccine.

Not too many people have freezers that go down to -70 degrees. However, the protocol for handling J&J is the same as the normal flu shot and these nurses know how to handle that on an industrial scale.

Funny that colored folk want the same access to the COVID vaccine that white folk have.

An image of the current pandemic battle. Too many arms, too little vaccine for all of them, and too little actual organization to get it done more efficiently. But they are working overtime, long hours in all kinds of weather and in every way they can to get it done.

Prayers for everyone of them, their families, and those they care for.

Hubby and I got our first shots last week in Franklin County, Maine. The staff and volunteers were so organized, it took 25 minutes from the time we were escorted to registration, got our shots, sat for 15 minutes and was escorted out to the door. The volunteers that did the escorting were retired physicians and medical workers and just plain nice people. Hats off to all of those people. And everyone wore masks. No complaints.

Former president #45 claimed to have had and recovered from the virus. But…if #45 had the virus and recovered, he already had the immune defenses not to be re-infected. Why would he take the vaccine?

Shouldn’t the nurse be wearing a mask?

How many of those arms out belong to people who still like to say that COVID-19 is just a hoax?

Got my second shot today. Now I can go to Mississippi and breathe on the non-believers. If God can protect them from snakes, He should protect them from Covid.

States that do not have a mask mandate should not get the vaccine until the rest of the nation does. If they aren’t taking the pandemic seriously and do not care about the health of their citizens why should we, in the rationally-thinking world, care about the health of their citizens?
