I have a bucket of fireworks set aside for the occasion.

A president’s record of lasting positive accomplishments as a public servant should be the central focus of their funeral.

But not as well attended.

I am surprised he didn’t stand in front of the casket and tell how great he is.

Trump did seem a bit bored and distracted at the funeral. No Trump or Make America Great Again signs to be seen.

You DID see him screw up not once, but TWICE during the funeral? EVERYONE ELSE had their hand over their heart as the coffin was brought in, EXCEPT for GUESS WHO, THEN, during the group recitation/singing, EVERYONE ELSE was at least trying to follow along, EXCEPT for GUESS WHO??

Thanks for nothing, Jeff! I didn’t even think about the fact that Trump might get a state funeral when he goes. Maybe we’ll be spared. Nixon didn’t lie in state, his was a relatively small affair at the Nixon Presidential Library.

And America can’t wait to see how much grander.

It seemed like the Bushes stole a chapter from the Bobby Kennedy story with the funeral train. I only wish the Bushes had chosen to copy RFK’s actions while Bobby was still living.

As long as it isn’t a State Funeral. If he’s a private citizen it’ll be on E! TV and we can all ignore it just like I do with that channel every day.
