Wearing the sweater was optional. Wearing the sweater also tells us a lot about you’re values.

And yet, the Republican Party is supporting him. If elected, he will never be expelled.

If only people could see that the morality question is almost identical to the sexual harassment problem, partisanship could be identified as an ugly mental disease and we could start working on a cure. We all prize civility -- treat others as you would like to be treated -- and most people understand that their morality is unique to their “tribe” and not universal. When we invade another’s physical space by unwanted touching, grabbing, etc, we can see and understand the problem of trying to impose one’s will on another. The same is true when we invade another’s moral space through religious, political , (much worse) political-religious ideology and try to impose our moral values on another. CIVILITY tells us that a person is “good” if they adhere to their not our moral code … being “good” is being true to one’s self. When we suppress civility and succumb to the notion that we can impose our morality on another, the division begins, resentment flourishes, and communication terminates.

To get our nation back into a positive growing and sustaining mode we need to respect each both physically and morally … respecting and celebrating our differences, not trying to impose our belief on everyone else. Being civil and setting aside differences -- agreeing to civilly disagree -- would allow us the focus on the common issues that have neglected. Being civil is hard work, but it allows cooperation on getting important things done.

Moore admits to dating girls half his age and he had the permission of their mothers: that makes it OK. That’s Alabama “Christian family values” for you.

Let’s bring back the good ole days of slavery when white people were in charge, “them kind” knew their place and women didn’t vote at all unlike today when a good Godly-submissive wife votes and thinks as her husband tells her to.

It looks like idiot Trump’s anti-political correctness movement is going to be hit by a tidal wave of politically correct women.

He sure is ugly, and he sweats a lot. He gets angry when other people say “Holiday,” but he says it himself without thinking.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The Elephant told the Donkey his Hope and Change sweater was ugly too. They like their new sweater, don’t rain on their parade. If the good people of Alabama want to be represented by a child molester, who are we to question their morality. I would suspect the good people would be the ones voting for the candidate who went after the Klansmen who firebombed an African American church. With the gerrymandering it should only take a 60 – 40 win to put a Democrat in office.

Darkness begets ignorance, ignorance begets fear, fear begets hate. That explains why Alabama is a hateful state – they are living in the dark ages and are afraid of immigrants, blacks, Hispanics, women, gays, Muslims …

I’m not like the typical Alabamian who has lived his whole life in one little town where everyone goes to the same church and thinks exactly the same way. In 28 years with the military I have been to virtually every corner of the globe and experienced life in many cultures and have met many different kinds of people. I am not ignorant, nor do I live in fear. The truth has set me free.

Time to move along Jeff – what about the riots Trump caused in the Middle East and the people killed because of them? Conspiracy theory: Trump moves Israeli Capital to Jerusalem in hopes of inspiring a terrorist attack so he can ban all Muslims from the U.S.
