One thing I find strange is why gay people feel compelled to declare their sexual proclivities to the public. I personally don’t really care and get very tired about the publicity this small percentage of the populations seems to crave.
He’s the first (unless you count the CEO of Quark Xpress), and firsts matter. Good for him. And because in much of the country, you wouldn’t need any reason other than this to legally fire the man.
@ODonSo what? there are many more heterosexuals in the world and we don’t make a big deal of it. It was all prepared before hand; someone was to ask him the question so he could answer in public. And Ted Lind, if it tires you stop buying Apple products, they crappy and overpriced anyway. While you are it stop buying Cheerios too. The homosexual community likes to boycott businesses and products, lets do the same. Any one who wants to get out of the closet good for you, but the only ones who care are homosexuals, leave the rest of us out of it.
I worked in the aerospace industry for some 37.5 years. I knew that at least some of my fellow workers were gay, but they never pushed any kind of an agenda on any of the rest of us, and were not only good people, but terrific fellow workers. As long as that was true, the rest of we fellow workers could care less just what their sexual orintations were!!

I’m happy that he is happy but Apple products are still rotten to the core.

Some of the people who are saying it’s not an issue are the same people who want (wish for) all the gays to stay in the closet.
