B-24 pilot, who showed real courage throughout his life, good guy, and yes, a true patriot.

Glad the libs here liked him. It sounds like he would’ve been voting for Romney after getting older and wiser ……………………..“I wish that during the years I was in public office, I had had first hand experience about the difficulties business people face every day. That knowledge would have made me a better U.S. Senator and a more understanding presidential contender”.

Despite being a politician, he was a man of his times, and had a good heart. He was a true moderate and served his nation with loyalty and dedication.See you on the other side, Sir.Respects, C.

Like the pro-choice Republicans we heard at the convention. Yeah, right. Like the conservatives in Indiana and Utah who were primaries out because they had the temerity to vote for the American people once or twice, but it was a bill that could be passed in the senate by Democrats. Yeah, right. I’ll admit the Republican party allows dissent if it ever does again.

I know someone who wanted to run for state office as a Republican. The local R power brokers visited him in his office, told him he wasn’t conservative enough for their liking, and that if he continued to run in the primary they would do their best to ruin him.
