Only the rich and successful can acquire and support such a girth, it is a clear show of how successful most American’s are as compared to the rest of the world. They only thing American gluttony has against it is that other’s either envy or are simply jealous that they can’t be like us.
F-22’s now grounded for another “minor lethal flaw”. F-35 is junk, and now going to cost over a TRILLION dollars, ONE MORE WEAPON SYSTEM THAT DOESN’T WORK!
The “bloat” in the system IS wasted money on “defense”, more than any other “program”. Contracting since Reagan, instead of “in house” is another problem in the extreme growth in cost. But as long as their friends make the money, cons in Congress, yes from both parties, but WAY more “republicans”, won’t stop it.
“Entitlements” are based on payments paid in over time, just like any insurance. “Defense” on the other hand, especially the contracting, and subsequent demands for war, just a deep hole. As the general in charge of the F-22 said, “Of course they’re expensive, but if we didn’t plan to use them, we wouldn’t buy them.” Now given they’ve never flown a combat mission, and are all grounded, again, are they planning to get into a war on U.S. bases in the continental U.S., so they can taxi them into combat???

If you don’t want your taxes to pay for ‘FREE’ healthcare, then why do you refuse to support a law that REQUIRES people to buy medical insurance?
