    Yeah, I’ve never seen what’s so special about this painting. Maybe it’s popular because it’s so easy, but nonetheless “modern”. I would pay to have someone take it away.

    like on Wall Street, anyone stop to figure how much the "artist’ gets, especially when so many are conveniently dead at the time of sale, versus how much the BROKER gets out of the deal??

    Which, also makes it interesting “debating” what the artist was actually thinking, when, art is often meant to stimulate thought, not give answers.

    As to conservatives, the “Treasure of the Sierra Madre” offers a take: “We don’t need no stinking reality!”
