Republicans will provide the answer to all taxation: The Tax Fairy will pay them all, and corporations will serve as the middle man to handle the contract, taking in 80% of the revenue.
@Radish the protester: Fair share? We had to cancel my husband’s health insurance (self employed, but no health problems) when it reached 40% of our gross (before food, mortgage, taxes) income. That was $2000 per MONTH for one 61 yr old man. He’s now one of the many uninsured. We’ve paid for our own health insurance for 30 years with almost no claims except annual exams – certainly nowhere near $24,000 per year! We’ve paid corporate and personal taxes for a lot longer than 30 years.
