polititicians and cartoonists who favor OWS are intellectually dense or dishonest.-those “protestors” are Marxism’s “useful idiots”….busy trying to Kill the Golden Goose and wolves biting the Hand that Feeds them! -and historically the first to die under Lenin, Stalin and Mao….when they achieve Power.-… IMO, Wall Street hasn’t done nearly the harm to the American citizenry as the Liberal/Left/Democrats federal government and bureaucracy! From Wm.Clinton, Sen.Dodd, House Barney Frank et al, through the Thug Regime of Obama.-Capitalism and Freedom and the Bill of Rights are their targets.

you’re right good governments could have controlled it, a fair government should ensure it never happens again by regulating them,

Hmm, seems the Old Testament AND the Quran ban charging people interest on a loan. All those “good Christians” on Wall Street, running financial scams, and of course asking for money on their TV programs and evangelical “missions” in the mega-churches. Interesting.

Which, dt: are you familiar with the density of lead? Might be where your “weighty” philosophy and open-mindedness come from?

In fact, the Catholic Church explicitly forbade charging of interest on a loan — usury was a sin for which Dante put people into Hell. (The Seventh Circle, if you’re curious – as unnatural acts.)
