The team owners need to get some consistency in their signing contracts. No player should be paid the salaries that some are getting. Players need to be real about what to expect. They expect fans who make $30-$60,000 a year to come see them play? Tickets costing $40-$100 each? -Nosebleed for the most part.

first i’ve heard of this. team sports are like murder mysteries: you get the whole story just by watching the last 10 minutes…heh. just remember, fan is short for fanatic; only the insanely obsessed would pay to see it. so let ’em.

Justice, you do realize that the big winners here are the owners, right? They’re the really rich ones. Not only that, but players depreciate, so you can get a player who is at his peak performance but who counts as a loss against taxes.Besides, just go to a farm team game. They’re cheaper, they’re still good, and you get a lot closer to the action!
