That’s kind of a peculiar cartoon. Both looks and concept. Though I agree that it more or less depicts what happened at the “debate”.

Bernie Sanders is clearly leading in the delegate count, but Bloomberg looms high in the polls without even having appeared yet on any ballot so far. Bloomberg is the more immediate threat, especially considering that Bernie may lead, but may have difficulty getting the outright majority needed to win a nomination (hardly the “will of the people” if there are more voters against you than for you — the reason we have runoff elections, even if, in a convention, they are called “multiple ballots”).

Elizabeth Warren is no enemy of Sanders, though she has a proven track record of far greater technical knowledge of financial and economic issues and which buttons to push and levers to pull to effect real change, and more and greater accomplishments in a far shorter political career (since most of her life was in the real world, addressing the real problems of real people).

So Warren was clearly right to make her primary target the racist, sexist, anti-worker (opposes the minimum wage), anti-consumer (opposed Wall $treet and bank$ter reform during the 2008 Bush economic meltdown), the common adversary of herself and Bernie, though she has clearly proven she is far better equipped to deal with such adversaries.

Some of the memes I’ve seen in the wake of Elizabeth Warren’s total skewering of Michael Bloomberg, and her total domination of Wednesday’s debate:

Bloomberg got STOPPED AND FRISKED by Elizabeth Warren.

Bloomberg wishes that what happened in Vegas would stay in Vegas.

Survivor was on Wednesday night, and Bloomberg got voted off the island.

With apologies to Helen Reddy … I am WARREN hear me roar.

Most important, Warren has demonstrated that she is by far the best positioned to do the same to New York pseudo-billionaire Trump what she did to real billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

From my personal experience with her, I’ve found that Betty refuses to believe any facts that disagree with what she wants to believe. We already have one president with this fault, we don’t need another.

Warren is vicious, and not presidential material! I would go nuts if I had to watch her speak and malign everyone she encounters….she acts like she’s the answer to Americas woes….she is NOT! Like Bernie, she’s a complete and utter loon!

While I would never approve of the racist stop and frisk policies I do have to acknowledge that the voters have to bear some responsibility for it. At the time voters were demanding in no uncertain terms that they wanted more aggressive policing and prosecution to stem the tide of crime especially in the face of all the advertising the organised gangs were getting from the news coverage making it seem like a crime epidemic.

The whole process would go better if the people running for office were truly mature altruistic adults … and the electorate was willing to make thoughtful/considered decisions rather than rash/emotional decisions.

It seems that We The People don’t really feel that it’s important to have competent proven problem solvers as public servants. We could have fixed this long ago, but were too busy?

Watched Biden on town hall last night. He is beloved, he is sharp, and he WILL win S. Carolina. I voted by mail for Warren in our primary. I’ll vote for her pet cat against Trump- but I doubt she has coat-tails. I doubt that Bernie has coat-tails…I KNOW Biden does !

Yeah, Bloomberg insulted women, but Trump ASSAULTED them. Three CREDIBLE accusations of rape against Li’l Donnie, and other CREDIBLE accusations of other forms of sexual predation and misconduct by many other women. Warren should check to see if any of that is in any of her index cards……..

Good luck if Warren gets nominated. Health care? Who Pays? Reparations? Surely you jest. A Millionaire who seems to detest billionaires. She’s cabinet material. And BTW, I didn’t hear of anyone turning down Bloomberg’s money or insulting him when he was backing most of the candidates who “flipped” Congress.
