“…Well, you see it’s really simple. First, you do everything you can to invalidate congress (job done) and remove or rewrite the constitution (job in progress) and then after a second term about october 2007 you have a “national emergency” that would require the proclamation of martial law and the suspension of elections until the end of the “crisis”. Bush is then dictator for life. See? simple.”
FIFY
In a truly surprising move it didn’t happen then. Won’t happen now either.
The conservatives DO have two strategies: 1. Be afraid 2. Be VERY afraid! Amazing, the land of the free, and the home of the brave, and they don’t get EITHER!
In the second frame is Danziger hinting that Bohner is like a one Star Gen. ranting that his career is over because his operative’s in the field are such dunces?
This cartoon by the talented Mr. Danziger is a brilliant observation, right down to the umbrella stuck in McConnell’s good ear. These unduly elected hacks are a continuing embarrassment to what was once a shining example of democracy for all the world to witness. No more, petty politics and the insatiable greed of the wanna-be richies has irreparably sullied that ideal.
Senator and Minority Leader Mike McConnell of Kentucky and Representative and Speaker of the House John Boehner, leaders of the Congressional G.O.P., "the gang that cannot shoot straight " and the party that is wagged by the tail of the Tea-Party—the American people want jobs and health-care reform and the road to economic recovery—it is high time for compromise with the Democrats and for making the point of "getting it right " for a change !

Unfortunately, I very much fear that 12-16 will be little more than a replay of 08-12.

I’m sure there will be a young Democrat that will run in 2016.
