I prefer the Canadian version: “Take the train, eh?”

1952 steel strike. Truman nationalized the industry but the SC ruled he didn’t have the power to do so. AMTRAK is nationalized but not companies hauling freight; will the legislation passed by Congress affect them?

Anything positive Joe does is perceived as a threat to the mindless gop. Because they never “got nothing”! They’ll probably investigate this now! ☺️☺️☺️☺️

So the President who says he is a big union guy and a friend to labor and the working man…….just wants to totally ignore the desire of the union, its members, and their voices and then use the Congress to force a contract they don’t want down their throats…..

And most of the Dems and some of a Republicans support this.

I am not a huge fan of unions, but it is up to THEM to decide what they want for themselves whether he or you or I like it or not…….Worse yet, if it’s forced on them, they have to work with a contract they don’t want for 4 years before the new one is renogotiated.

If a Republican did this the left would be screaming bloody murder from the highest treetops.
