(shrug). I think that SWA is reaping what it has sown. Though the cartoon does have a cute idea.
Mandates not looking so bad now, huh?
With no self-respect, the immature will cling to a bad idea rather than admit they were wrong. Pretending that the health of others — especially during a pandemic — does not affect us … has never been true.
Again… if I can’t drive there, I AIN’T GOING!
Why would someone fly on an airline, that can’t do anything right?
In December of 2019 my wife and I along with my son and his family flew to Orlando so that we could watch the grand-kids enjoy Disney World. Two hours on a Southwest to get there, bus rides, train rides, cable car rides, amusement park rides, two hour flight home. A week later my wife and I were in bed with the worst flu I can remember even though we had gotten our annual flu shot. Not a month and a half later Covid was just ramping up. Most likely a coincidence? No more flying in a packed tube for this old coot.
Better question, why would anyone volunteer to be locked into a narrow tube with recycled air for several hours, knowing that the people walking up and down the aisle have refused to follow protections for a disease that has killed 3/4 of a million in this country?
Remember the frothing at the mouth panic the Qublicans had over Ebola? The weeping and fear mongering over bird flu? The rumors about “Obama gonna wipe us out”? Remember all that?
Suddenly, they’re all about doing nothing.
They have the most wonderful minds.
death. the ultimate vacation.
I’m not sure if this was drawn before or after the “Let’s go, Brandon!” message from one of their pilots. Either way, you’re right on the mark, Jack!
