Wait for the clowns to be off and then see what Fauci has figured out he can maybe slip past the ridiculous bastard to succor the American people in the name of suffering humanity.
It seems prayer is the theme of the day. I guess when you don’t have anyone in charge that can give any better options, you go with the options you have left.
No! Let him speak. If he increasingly hides behind competent people, he won’t be exposed for the fool he is. I think people with the power to really do things right are increasingly bypassing or modifying his judgments. Let everybody see the rancid ingredients he tries to put into the political sausage. Let’s see Trump in all his “gory.”
Well, to paraphrase what John Adams said in “1776” : “I do believe you’ve laid a curse on North America, a curse that we here now rehearse almost everywhere, A second flood, a simple famine, plagues of locusts everywhere, or a cataclysmic earthquake, I’d accept with some despair, but NO, you sent us trump… GOOD GOD, SIR, WAS THAT FAIR??”
These aren’t news conferences. They’re campaign rallies, in the guise of news conferences, fully funded by the media reporting this dribble. Meanwhile his campaign coffers (which he’ll use to fund family and friends) gets bigger and bigger.
I was watching Laurence O’Donnell on MSNBC yesterday. He showed a VIDEO CLIP (yes, a video, so we know it actually happened) of tRumps propaganda conference. I turned it off because it made me sick, after I heard this:US Navy Admiral: “We are delivering 200,000 masks to NY hospitals…” VP Pence interrupts: “…I must make a correction here. They are being delivered to a warehouse.” Reporter: “How will they get to the hospitals?”VP Pence: “They’ll be auctioned off” Reporter (stunned): “What! Why?”US Navy Admiral: “Because that’s how we do it in this country.”
My Physician tells me “Stress can affect your immune response”. In simple terms, getting pished off can lead to illness. With that in mind, I do not listen to or look at trump, or any of his trained dung-beetles.
It’s interesting that the trope is “thoughts and prayers” because it suggests that a prayer involves no thinking. “Think, then act”, would be better advice.

Right now, he seems to have been leashed, mostly. But I admit I’ve stopped paying attention to Orange pronouncements.

Only 160 million praying for that, and that’s just in the US.

Those are not news conferences, they are free campaign commercials.

Mr. Ohman, the proper term is ‘campaign rally’, not news conference.

The final three words in that prayer should be replaced with “or tweet.”

I am so (bloody) outraged and upset that I can’t even finish reading these cartoons. What has happened to “humanity”?

[with insincere apologies to Edwin Arlington Robinson]
Donnie the Dotard, child we scorn
Grows fat as season turns to season
We weep that he was ever born
‘Cause he can’t reason
The Dotard loves the tyrant class
With soldiers and their tanks parading
He is, like them, a horse’s ass
And flunks when adults do the grading
The Dotard sighs for rallies not
And always rests, and never labors
And never ever gives a thought
To non-rich neighbors
The Dotard loves the gold he steals
Or gains by bribes or blackmail sinful
He claps his hands with happy squeals
And drives us all to drink a skinful
The Dotard born? Calamity!
And while we wish he were a fiction
He spoils the land from sea to sea
With just his Adderall addiction
[yeah, yeah, I skipped a few verses but I didn’t want the virus to find out that I was practicing unsafe typing!]

The desperate man’s prayer would have been a lot better without the last three words.
