Neither one of them excites me, though between the two, I prefer Bernie. Too bad about Warren.

Cuomo poster in the background is a nice touch. Always good to see a national leader.

You can now get a rough estimate of how good each state is coping with the pandemic. The Johns Hopkins dashboard upgraded today. Now the side bars will give you the deaths and case load for each state. Play around with it and you’ll see.

So if you divide [deaths] by [cases] for each state you get the deaths to case ratio. It’s crude, but not too crude. Like a batting average.

So how is Delaware batting for Biden and Vermont for Sanders? They better watch their old grey butts. For Biden, Delaware is scoring a 2.99% (13 dead/ 368 cases) . For Sanders, Vermont is currently in the cellar with 4.99% (16 dead/ 321 cases). It’s early in the season, still…

Hell, those two states are both down there with Louisiana (4.25%), Oklahoma (4.16%), or Georgia (3.32%).

If I was them I would head for Boston. Massachusetts is running a 1.58% on 7738 cases. The data is showing that Beth Israel and Massachusetts General are -well, not exactly knocking them out of the park – but they seem to have their game on.

Wonder if I can get some side action on Pennsylvania?

Biden has said, while he’s done with debates, he’s not asking Bernie to drop out.

Sanders has been live streaming on a practically nightly basis and fundraising for COVID-19 related charities. Biden posted a 20 minute podcast nearly a week after recording it and did a couple of terrible TV interviews.

Bring back some of the other democratic candidates! Why are these the only 2? Yes I know, primaries and people dropping out. But still!! Come back!

At least they are behaving responsibly.

Apparently that gets you punished in our twisted society.

The respective activity of each candidate is appropriate. It takes more intelligence and physical ability to knit a sweater than to play paddle ball.

Disappointed that neither Biden nor Sanders are demonstrating leadership abilities during this pandemic while the current administration is fumbling. Both have decades of government experience and contacts, but they are sitting on the sidelines. Biden might have a weak excuse of not being in office at the moment, but Sanders is still a Senator.
