The lottery of life comes in so many guises. The odds almost always favor the less desirable outcome, but the rewards sometimes make it worth the risk. What’s the reward here? Immediate reduction in taste acuity, olfactory acuity, blood-oxygen capacity, and long term damage to cilia and tissue for removing foreign matter from respiratory tract…but those are just facts, not reasons to quit. The additives smell rather nice while smoldering, but stale rather quickly. Shall we now consider the caffeine? I’m told it’s a diuretic but as it is the only liquid I drink in a usual day, shouldn’t I be dried up like a prune? Skin is a little on the loose crepe side, but not dry.
