Too easy… But it does make sense.
this is a repeat.
Nowadays, just the fact that there’s a satellite antenna in the “suburby” area might be an indicator… This is an old repeat I know, but if it were today, I think a lot of people go with the cable TV or even cord cutting over-the-air TV and streaming. :-P
this might be an “easy” solution to this mystery, but at least it makes sense and is logical. Better than “it was house #3 because they were the only ones who did NOT have an obvious satellite dish. It was concealed in the chimney, out of sight. Further investigation proved the dog was actually a midget in a dog costume, acting as a lookout…”
Pointing the other direction in our picture doesn’t tell us anything, unless we have some assurance that they have kept driving in the same direction. Perhaps he could have drawn a low sun in each frame to indicate that.
And then there’s the fact that any geosynchronous satellite has to have an equatorial orbit, thereby being in the same general direction as any other.
Apparently we have six houses, five of which have, apparently, fixed mounted dish antennae. If we assume the four pointed in the same direction are pointed at a geostationary satellite, then they are pointing south. Or at least mostly south. This means the fifth dish is pointing basically NORTH. This is not pointing at a satellite, because you can’t keep a satellite in the north.
So what is it pointing at? Presumably, a nearby mountain or tall building. Maybe some HAM has been experimenting with atmospheric skip (though I would expect that to be a larger antenna, probably a Yagi or something similar). Alternatively, maybe it isn’t fixed mounted, and just happens to be pointed in that direction at the moment.
Can we guess house number 5? It has a satellite dish mounted on the chimney, and said chimney is too short. I believe this means it has a fake chimney. Combined with the woodpile, this makes for a very suspicious house. Easily grounds for calling in your local CEO, so perhaps the only one you can investigate further.
And here i thought it was the house with the satellite dish attached to the CHIMNEY! cause who would do that??? Obviously someone NOT using their chimney, ie, not using a house for a normal reason but a spy nest. But yeah, lets go after the one guy who found a signal from a dif direction because his dish is more advanced and can pick up a signal from a bit further away.
