But the others said the ring fit fine but the mailman said it fit perfectly!
Dear ghostkeeper: Thanks for the crash course in English grammar. Embarrassing typo. But apart from that – any comments on the concept of the comic strip itself? Kindest, Werner Wejp-Olsen
Good Comic. Not sure how long you can come up with mysteries that will fit into a limited number of panels
Sort of reminds me of Slylock Fox, which I enjoyed until the local Sunday paper got greedy and charged extra for it. I am adding this strip to my favorites list and will look forward to getting it e mailed to me with the rest of them.
I think the strip is OUTSTANDING! Great to have you on GoComics!! As usual, we cartoonists must be held to a very high standard for grammar, spelling and sentence structure – but you knocked it out of the park for a brilliant, different and fun cartoon to read. I look forward to reading them as often as you can produce them!
I must confess, though, I guessed the doctor for a couple of reasons. My wedding ring seems to have gotten pretty tight over the years and doesn’t fit nearly as well as it did at first. Second, janitors and mailmen are not well known for washing their hands before doing “fatal surgery.”
Great strip, old friend. Bring it on!!
Thom the Birdbrain
Best so far, hoping they get a little more challenging but love concept
i like it, but here’s hoping the janitor washes frequently too
Very cool, I’m looking forward to seeing more of these!
@Werner. I love a good mystery. I guessed the doctor, but only because I read mini-mysteries and never tire of it! I’m adding you to my comics list. I know you will do well here.
@The Blue. Thanks for steering us to a great strip. Don’t think for a moment that this lets you off the hook. You still have to write BirdBrains for your feather-brained friends!
I guessed the other Doctor because the other suspects said that the ring fit………and the doc kinda-sorta denied it.
Werner…..welcome to the GoComics family, we got the tip from Thom at Birdbrains, and had to give it a try.
I LOVE mysteries!!!!!!!!!!!
@ghostkeeper : Is that a new comic. I don’t see it. Pardon me for intruding. I know your comment was for Grog.
love the strip. keep it up!!!!
Love the Concept!
The amazing thing is that all of the suspects have only 3 fingers on their hands. If they all wore white gloves as well it would indicate Walt Disney syndrome.
I love a good challenge! Keep up the good work!
While physicians do a very thorough hand wash, many, [perhaps most people remove jewelry before washing in order to avoid getting water into watches and soap deposits on jewels, so this solution isn’t totally convincing. We might ask which suspect would have a reason to wash his hands before committing a murder. Of the three, the janitor might be most likely to have dusty hands, which would have left hand prints at the scene of the crime. I doubt if the physician was very concerned about the risk of an infection in someone he was about to murder, and so the hand scrub seems unnecessary.
You must be great fun at parties if that’s the way you conduct yourself in front of actual people… it was good of you to apologize though.
Is the inspector related to George Wilson (Dennis the Menace’s neighbor)? Sure is a resemblance…
Knightman! Watch out for the grammar police!
Good strip!ghostkeeper was harsh, though. A typo is a typo, which this obviously was.
I quite like this
