Isn’t having a treehouse while you’re camping outdoors redundant, Milo? Let daddy have his interior office space for the time being.

Oh, would love to have a tree-house office, but with screening to keep out the mosquitoes and windows to keep out the cold.

Okay so THAT’S why their not sleeping in it. Their parents are using it as an office/staging area. Though I so far don’t really like the dad both for putting his family through this nonsense, and for now this. He IS within his rights to use it as they don’t have much space and he needs to work, but he shoudl’ve told his son he was using it. or you know JUST RENTED ANOTHER HOUSE.

haha, this is so true to character!! I love the way each family member has to jockey for space in this growing outdoor home! Wonderful details, the coffee / tea steaming, the rolled blueprints and plans, the box of pencils and other instruments! and so great too, the use of shifting perspectives, as Milo comes up into his “fort,” with his new friends, and then the camera comes back, and we see his dad, a little awkward, but all set up there! I’m so loving this growing story.

Based on the size of Dad’s head and gut… how the heck did he fit through that opening?

Okay, I was wrong: I didn’t think Dad had the agility to get up there himself, much less with his gear. Maybe he’s cleverer or gutsier than I gave him credit for.
