Who can blame them while their hard work and efforts are being burned and otherwise destroyed. They are only trying to give people what they want and need, water, sewage, parks, streets, sidewalks, flood control, among other needs and wants. Destroying such is as foolish and idiotic as anarchists attacking mail carriers.

Funny! This reminded me of the City Planners in a couple of towns I’ve lived in.
“We want more accommodations for our inherent planning deficits!”

I saw some union guys protesting in front of a hospital because when the hospital remodeled to add some rooms for out-patient procedures, they didn’t use union workers. I laughed because the protesters had the name of the hospital wrong.
You know, if you’re going to protest against a place, you really should get the name right. That told me everything I needed to know about why the hospital didn’t use those workers.
Not very good planners. Just hire new ones. They couldn’t do any worse…
Planners have become agents for developers.
It is rough when you have to tell people that you are on strike for them to notice.
