The taxed oppressed are voting with their feet — or cars, or moving vans. And DeSantis projects a message of sanity amidst a nation enslaved by the gospel of Woke-ism. There are good paying jobs in Florida.. Just the opposite of what the Tinkerbelll fairies are telling you.
Can we build a boarder wall along Florida instead?
Under DeSatan Florida has become the place freedom goes to die.
Anyway, at this rate, Florida will start losing their best and brightest, as they aren’t going to want to live in the State of Oppression, that Florida has become. About the only ones that will have an extra freedom will be white guys that get scared at a shadow and murder a black man doing nothing wrong, but being black, screaming their right to stand their ground. I stopped going to Florida in 2012, and have no plans to visit anytime soon.
I know 6 people over 55 who have moved to Florida in the last few years. I didn’t know they were part of such a drastic migration. Though one couple is moving back this summer. They say it’s fun place to visit on vacation, but living there isn’t as great as they imagined.
Moving to Florida for the cheap housing (not any more, and insurance gets more expensive by the day)), low taxes (and even lower infrastructure maintenance), less traffic (hah!), and great weather (if you’re a mosquito).
LGBTQ+ people are leaving Florida. They blame the Legislature.
“I spent 30 years in the closet,” one Floridian said. “I won’t be going back now.”
One bill proposed this session would create harsher penalties for businesses that admit children into “sexual performances,” which critics say is meant to target drag shows. Another would limit bathroom use for transgender people. A third would make it a third-degree felony to provide medical interventions to treat children with gender dysphoria in Florida.
The same day, the Florida Board of Education approved a ban on teaching about sexual orientation and gender identity in all grades, expanding the Parental Rights in Education law that critics have called the Don’t Say Gay law.
LGBTQ+ residents who are packing their bags say they no longer feel safe living in a state with legislation that they believe will harm members of their community, particularly transgender kids.
“One wonders, how bad is it going to get?” asked Tampa Bay area resident Clare Dygert.
‘I can’t afford the risk’The Riverview house was supposed to be their forever home.
It was where Dygert and Simone Bouyer planned to celebrate their retirement years, surrounded by a community of chosen family.
But the couple spent their recent date night planning their next move — quite literally.

Couldn’t be a coincidence that baby boomers are the largest generation in the country and are retiring in droves, could it?
