It’s how the conservative elite have always kept their “lessors” under control. Dredge up the past, scream that it was better then, and work on the outrage.

I am a liberal who supports Sanders and I still like this cartoon. I was VERY disappointed that Clinton and Sanders met with Sharpton. I know, Sharpton is not the equivalent of David Duke but it was still a disappointment.

Unfortunately in America the Blacks need an outspoken advocate. It was true in MLK days and it is true now. No-one needs the KKK.

Trump’s Mobbed Up, McCarthyite Mentor Roy Cohn

Donald Trump’s brash and bullying style was learned at the heel of Roy Cohn, one of America’s most infamous lawyers. They met at Le Club, a private disco on the Upper East Side frequented by Jackie Kennedy, Al Pacino, and Diana Ross, according to Trump: The Saga of America’s Most Powerful Real Estate Baron. Donald Trump, the young developer, quickly amassing a fortune in New York real estate and Roy Cohn, America’s most loathed yet socially successful defense attorney who had vaulted to infamy in the 1950s while serving as legal counsel to Senator Joseph McCarthy.

You know, I don’t care for Sharpton either, but this is just plain ignorant. Neither one of them love or snuggle up to Al Sharpton. The ONLY ones who consider Al Sharpton important is conservatives who like to use him as some sort of black bigot. And you know what, he may be. But his bigotry nowhere near matches Dukes, Trumps or the Klans. For shame, Payne.

Once again, Payne adds nothing positive to the campaigns.

Remember that it was President Truman who desegregated the U.S. military and President Lyndon Johnson who got the U.S. Congress to pass the Civil Rights Act.

Henry, You have posted several cartoons bashing Trump for his xenophobia, especially against Muslims. Why are you turning against your fellow media members for calling Trump on the David Duke matter?

“Socialism: Whites working really hard to provide blacks with all of their free stuff.”Socialism provides support based on need, not skin color. The GOP pretends that it all goes to minorities, yet most government aid goes to poor, working whites. As Jeff Foxworthy would put it, “You might be a racist.” Actually, there’s no doubt after reading that.
