Nooooo! We need to pump greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere as fast as we can. And we need to dump coal ash residue into our rivers as fast as we can.

If we can just get rid of those pesky environmentalists, we can go back to the way things ought to be, when rivers could catch fire and no one worried about it.

BTW, excellent Hatred Of Obama, Henry.

Ok, lets think about this for a minute. Obama is being portrayed as “fringe element” because he believes Global Warming is a serious problem. So, what company is he keeping? We can start with the Pentagon.http://www.military.com/daily-news/2014/10/14/army-braces-for-global-warming-impacts-on-bases.htmlMajor corporations:http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/24/science/earth/threat-to-bottom-line-spurs-action-on-climate.htmlThe World Bank:http://www.worldbank.org/en/news/feature/2014/01/23/davos-world-bank-president-carbon-pricingThe American Association for the Advancement of Science:http://whatweknow.aaas.org/get-the-facts/Which also says their polls and scans of peer reviewed papers show 97% of climate scientists agree that climate change / GLOBAL warming is caused by human effects on the atmosphere.Damn, that’s one HUGE fringe. Amazing how they can all be wrong, and it’s so EASY to find proof on the Koch supported side of the internet.

It is very clear that global warming is real and humans are a significant cause. The real problem is it will take worldwide cooperation and a lot of money to improve the situation. That means money being diverted from all those vested interests. In a way it is like the Illinois budget fight. Everybody knows the state is headed for bankruptcy but no one wants to be the one that has to give anything up to fix it. I suspect in both cases the problem has to become so bad it causes everybody a lot of pain before progress can be made.

It’s funny to get accused of being “Green” just because you accept science as the best information we are going to get.

Science is by definition NOT, nor EVER a “religion” as all it’s products must be peer reviewed, and found factual, not myth, to be accepted in the community. That is the exact OPPOSITE of a religion.

BTW, it is way easier to build the transmitter and control a low flux radiator of large aperture than a high flux radiator of small aperture.
