I’d like to add my thanks to those who also Served In the Peace Corps, who often faced risks even greater than those of us who did military time. “Peace is our profession” IS the broader good.

And while we Liberals show appreciation for Veterans, Republicans have proposed cutting their benefits.

^Bill, they haven’t just proposed, they HAVE cut them! Including funding for students in the post 9/11 GI bill that they’ve manipulated to “cut costs”.

Because anyone providing positive service in the name of the United States of America, for another County, reflects directly on how the people of that country perceive America and respond to American ideals, beliefs, hopes, and, in the final analysis, to all Americans, yourself included.
