The way my sister used to make her girls eat mushrooms was to blend them down to mush/nothing, then toss them into her casseroles, spaghetti sauces, etc, etc.

That’s why you have vegetable fries, vegetable spaghetti, rice cauliflower.

The only way I can eat squash (Zucchini is a type of squash.) is as a bread.

My mom convinced my brother and I that veggies were (mostly) delicious. Spinach was what Popeye ate. Broccoli were little tender trees. Granted, she never convinced me that beets were edible, and sauerkraut was toxic as far as I was concerned, but neither of us had any problem enjoying vegetables in general. Liver, on the other hand – my doctor banned organ meats from my diet, and I celebrated! Mom thought it was tragic, but she’d order liver and onions at a restaurant.

Heart, Heart, Heart – many a rustic Italian dish has grilled veggies on the spaghetti; a little garlic, a little basil, a little olive oil – sub Orecchiette for noodles – oh my!

Or like doing a movie about a super hero who wears a cool costume but then having them spend 80-90% of the runtime without the mask so that the actor can get as much facetime as possible.
