My ice cream truck always seemed to be playing Do Your Ears Hang Low

Mine always played Turkey in the Straw, but apparently that is now deemed politically incorrect.

Alternate words to Turkey in the Straw:

And I walked right in to a donut shop

And I picked up a donut right out of the grease

And I handed the lady a five-cent piece. ♫

Jump in the breadbox- you crumb!

The Halloween candy has been out here since the first of August.

It’s end of August and the Christmas stuff is on the top shelf, while the Halloween stuff is on the middle shelf…..Can we please enjoy the rest of summer first?

A reminder to wallow in the season, and ice cream, now. And often.

Not much worse than the sound of flip-flops.

There was a time when, hearing the music of the ice cream truck, I’d come running — and it wouldn’t matter a bit what music was playing.

Too early? They already have Halloween stuff out….ugh

If you have two left feet the sound is “flop, flop.”

It bugs me that a couple of cable channels are airing holiday movies RIGHT after Halloween . (can’t they wait until the day after Thanksgiving? )

You forgot to include the sound pavement makes when it fails due to heat too intense for it.
