    This depend entirely on your definition of harm.In the modern age, hurting somebody’s feelings is an actionable offense; possibly a hate crime.St. Peter is certainly going to hear from lawyers on this.

    Who do you think have been the leaders in just about every progressive improvement in how corporations treat people and what products are sold to everyone? Yes there are lawyers who are just there to get as much money as possible and who will do whatever a paying client asks, no matter how unethical. But there are thousands of good people who try hard to get good representation done against a lot of pressure to the contrary. If one lawyer offers another a bribe to betray a client, are all lawyers evil because one is? Surveys have shown that clients think all lawyers are evil — except for theirs. A lot of times it’s the client who causes the trouble, then tries to blame it on the lawyer. Wake up to the real world, folks.
