    Some good music came out.

For a while it looked like we would change the way some of us worked, but that one had too much intertia.

Quarantine cleared up the air in some places?

Trying for a stretch, look at how many weaknesses and problems within many parts of system got identified and forced the corrections and improvements to be made as more of the public “woke” to the internal and external threats. Ranges from BLM to spying to income inequality to urban and rural social problems and many more.

The highest vote count in US history has made many understand that people cannot take government for granted. They cannot dismiss it by saying that “they” are all the same and it does not matter who has the power.

There is also the perverse silver lining. The air is cleaner than it was before the first lockdown.

Until I saw it happen I could not believe that the American electorate could ever reject a single man almost all by himself. We live, and if we pay attention we may learn.

2020 is taking all of the blame for The Year of the Rat. Things are not getting better until after February 12th.

In my opinion, a lot of good things happened. As a proponent of space exploration, I was thrilled when Space X successfully transported astronauts to the ISS, thus breaking our dependence on Russians doing that job. The COVID vaccine started rolling out, and no one in my family contracted the virus. I can think of many more, but those are the ones I wanted to emphasize.

Could you imagine having to endure the lockdown without the internet?

Disasters tend to bring people together…maybe relatives or old friends who haven’t spoken in years…people helping people in ways never seen before….there’s two things, kid.

I doubt you’ll come up with anything better, unless aliens land tomorrow with an instant cure for the COVID virus.

I’ll just be watching the skies.
