Teaching, at any grade, is hard work…even for the most dedicated. There are exceptions in every profession that deals with children, but the majority of teachers are focused on their education.

I went to Catholic school in the ’50s and early ’60s. Start acting up in there and the nuns would smack you upside the head, second grader or not.
