I wonder if the boys and girls teams shared the bus for this road trip, seeing as they both played schools in Ohio. And Vic, driving all that way to watch half the game for some reason.

Amazingly, the boys’ game had less action than the girls’. Zero panels! And speaking of zero, you should have zero reservations about reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Feel lost. Was Vic doing PA at an away game instead of their PA person? Did he leave at half to return home and do school work? Was he doing homework in the stands when the team saw him? (And, if so, why bother going to game?) And, my experience, was it was easier to study on a trip if I was on a bus rather than driving.

Sparse crowd at unranked Perrysburg, at least the ants travel well. Why go on such a long roadie on a school night unless you are playing a meaningful game against a quality opponent?

We see it coming: M(ilford)TV’s latest edition of Pimp My Ride will be showing up in Lark Town soon. Vic will be tradin’ up to a 22-foot long ‘62 Cadillac Eldorado with all the adjustments. They’ll be following him to games, and Doug will be jealous.

Perrysburg! Milford’s closer to me than I imagined. What, no love for Sylvania?

Gil overhears Vic’s comment about leaving at halftime, and he is inspired to develop a whole new game plan for the rest of the season.

P1, Are either of these guys shooting at the basket while Doug does nothing?

P2, This from the same guy who wouldn’t give Vic a ride to The Bucket.

P3, Something no one has ever accused Gil of.

Vic exits in anger once he realizes Perrysburg will give him no hotdog and large drink!

Maybe he was doing homework at halftime and during timeouts.

Dougie Guthrie excuses himself from warmups to satisfy his curiosity why Vic road tripped apparently a long way for a half of basketball? Did Gil and Kaz make the trip? Good thing those tests were semi big and nothing more.

Ride in the team bus OR entertain the possibility of taking home a little hottie from the bleachers. No brainer to me.

In all reality , if the team wants to get loose why not join Marty Moon at Milford’s Do Drop Inn a proud sponsor of Milford Athletics .
