Really? They’re even going to stretch the lineup out over two days? Just post the lineup card and move on to the Mayor’s problem with alcohol (or whatever issue he has).
“The forecast says it might snow tomorrow.”
“Doesn’t matter. Or at least not to me, since I won’t be there. I’ll check in around May 10, to see how things are going.”

Reminder that a summary of the tournament is here:
including up to date brackets for each region. Voting scheduled to end Monday night.
P1, Doesn’t matter, it’s always warm in the showers.
P2, Hiawatha James seems to have been playing for Milford for nearly as long as Big Ken Brown did.
P3, What an outfield! The Mayor, Blowtop and Tiki.
No preseason practice? Four year letterman catcher Hiawatha James was probably on the team when True was the closer. So GilPa is going with small ball this year since he has speed and no heavy lumber like Bobby Ottewill and Lucky Haskins. Tsk, tsk.
Just realized that Milford is the only school district to stay open while the rest of the country is in isolation. Maybe they’ve been given the vaccine and didn’t share with anyone else.
In all reality , whose on First ?
Ok ,here’s the infield 3rd Bobbles O Brien, short Shakey’s Sanchez , second Slow Motion Swartz and first Flip Out Fuller , in all reality .
State Champion Gil will go next-level and have his players wearing snowshoes when they take the field. The man is a legend. His last sentence in P3 was answering her question “How have you been able to do this for over 60 years?”
Gil continues to benefit from annoying HvB and stupid Chet
She wants you Gil.
The day before opening day and she doesn’t know the lineups?
Who really cares who plays where on a H.S. baseball team?Their parents?? Readers?? Gamblers?? Opening day and you’re going to let your starting pitcher go 7? That’s how you keep you job for 40 years!
Um, Gil, it DOES matter, because if it’s snowing you aren’t playing baseball tomorrow! And speaking of matter, it matters if you don’t read today’s Mopped Up Thorp. Because then you’ll be sad.
In other news, three of the Jami Thorp Region Round 2 games are snoozers, but Boo Radley vs. Cody Exner is a back and forth thriller that may go down to the wire!
You know, the same kids who play basketball. And football.
Predictions on how long before cuttersjock starts calling for us to head to the Milford CC? Do you think he can hold out until May?
Snow? Speed? does the baseball team have a drug problem?
Bear and CJ attempt a jailbreak today in ‘HERMAN’.
P 4: “…hey…whaddaya’ doin’ right now?…wanna grab a drink with me back at my place?…”
Looking at Mopped up I noticed the Mr. Rodger’s sweater. Doesn’t quite pop in black and white
Did not realize that Gil is either very tall or she is related to a Munchkin
Results from round 2 in the Jami Thorp Region!
“Wildcat” Maris vs. Ransom Hale: Ransom spent all his time between rounds and even during pregame warmups trying to unload his inventory of bootleg VHS tapes to the Milford student body. Wildcat showed no mercy, blitzing Ransom with all his best propaganda attacks and half-truths. Ransom never had a chance against the region’s top seed.
“Wildcat” Maris 82 – Ransom Hale 55
Rich Golf Kids vs. Bobby Howry: This was expected to be a close matchup, but with the officials keeping a close eye on the Kids due to their well-publicized cheating, it ended up being a rout. Having to rely on their talent left the Kids woefully short against Bobby’s mind games. Down 15 at the half it just got worse in the second.
Bobby Howry 88 – Rich Golf Kids 63
