P1, The day you finally open your legs, Marjie.
P2, Well, anything except a state championship.
P3, Monday, practice in the snow? Or will we just move on to the girl’s practice and this will become a distant memory until May when Gil finally recites the lineup to Marjie before the first game?
Oh, and tomorrow is Master Bader’s favorite holiday. Yep, Palm Sunday.
No Corona in Fantasyland?
Oh great, how many weeks before we find out what advice The Mayor asked from Kaz?
Voting is low so far for the second round in the Keri Thorp Region. I’ll leave it open maybe until noon? One matchup is really close, another I thought would be isn’t panning out that way. Cast your votes here:

You know it’s time for a new story when Douchey shows up with her notebook but no phone
The Mayor’s favorite opening is an 83 proof bottle
Wow, two cliffhangers for the weekend! Being left hanging as to Gil’s starting lineup (and where The Mayor is playing), and what stupid advice The Mayor got from Kaz. And speaking of advice, I’d advice you to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp:
Yeah, I know I used the wrong word.
P1- Why does GilPa always look so relaxed when he’s with Marjie? Shouldn’t the be practicing social distancing? Good to see Ducey got her glasses back from her freeloading roommate, Milford High counselor Patty Hand.
P2- Thor P steals Kevin Garnett’s quote.
P3- The pen is mightier than the Gil mug.
Gil’s favorite opening day is soccer season, since he doesn’t bother to show up. In that respect it differs little from football, basketball, and baseball, but at least with soccer he has a legitimate excuse.
Marjie is not far from reality in her Panel 3 statement. Around here, snow in early April is not unheard-of.
All of the season’s seem exceedingly long to me. I think one baseball season lasted until September.
Gil has always believed that baseball has been very very good to him. Claims to the contrary are truly baseless.
Once again, Gil’s office looks totally different than the ones he’s had in the past. Does he remodel it twice a year, or does he have like four different offices in the school? And what’s in those huge filing cabinets that we’ve never seen before? All the dirt he has on every citizen of Milford? Twenty years of showercam footage?
Results from round 2 in the Keri Thorp Region!
Del Bader vs. Central City Thugs: Del Bader proved just why he is the number one seed, making a mockery of this game right from the start. Much like Boo Radley, the Thugs never knew what hit them. After getting steamrolled in the first half, Del never let up. Ran them over, backed up over them, ran them over again. No mercy!
Del Bader 106 – Central City Thugs 5
Uncle Gary vs. Coach Drool: An anticipated matchup, this game wasn’t even close to being competitive. Coach Drool was constantly harping about how Valley Tech should have won the state championship several years ago, except for Gil stealing his all-world quarterback. Meanwhile, Uncle Gary was all business, hitting layups and threes and mugging into the camera. At the end he lifted his jersey to reveal his tee shirt that included a link to his nephew’s latest singing video.
Uncle Gary 83 – Coach Drool 44
